Duro-Therm™
WHAT IS
IT?
Duro-Therm is a self-supporting, laminated
panel. Light weight and durable, this
all-plastic waterproof panel has thermal
insulating features. Our PLAS-TEX®
is permanently bonded to a polypropylene
fluted substrate, making it rigid and
quick and easy to install using SS-95
in a tube or cartridge style construction
adhesive.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Duro-Therm can be used for both industrial
and commercial applications. Able to be
installed onto wood/metal studs or girders,
it eliminates the need for additional
wall backer support. Apply over drywall
without having to tape, mud, and sand.
Use project construction tube glue applying
continuous bead on studs or along edges
of panel back. As waterproof ceiling tiles,
Duro-Therm can be cut to fit into lay-in
ceiling grids. Over drywall/sheetrock/gypsum
wallboard, cinder block/concrete wall,
apply continuous bead of adhesive on backside
of panel along edges and across. For maximum
impact resistance, flutes should run cross-wise
over studs.

INSTALLATION INFORMATION
Install directly over studs or unfinished
walls with cartridge style construction
adhesive. Reinforcing panels with rivets
or mechanical fasteners is optional. Precondition
panels and moldings for 24 hours at the
final temperature in the room to be applied.
Silicone caulking applied in molding channels
ensures waterproof barrier. Allow 72 hours
for adhesive to cure.

LOW MAINTENANCE
Maintenance is simple with a clean rag
and any household cleaner. Duro-Therm
is unaffected by most corrosive chemicals.
Do not use abrasive cleansers.
