Plastora Wainscot Laminated Panels
WHAT IS
IT?
Plastora is a self-supporting, laminated
panel. Light weight and durable, this
decorative all-plastic waterproof panel
has thermal insulating features. Our PLAS-TEX®
is scored with a beaded wainscoting appearance
and permanently bonded to a polypropylene
fluted substrate, making it rigid and
quick and easy to install using SS-95
in a tube or cartridge style construction
adhesive.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Plastora can be used as wainscoting for
both commercial and residential applications.
Able to be installed over existing ceramic
tile or FRP using Parkland's SS-95 polyurethane
adhesive, this panel is ideal for renovation
and remodeling. It will bridge gaps without
telegraphing uneven surfaces underneath.
In residential garages, line walls to
protect from damage and water.
Over drywall/sheetrock/gypsum wallboard,
cinder block/concrete wall, apply continuous
bead of adhesive on backside of panel
along edges and across. For maximum impact
resistance, flutes should run cross-wise
to wall studs.

INSTALLATION INFORMATION
Install over an unfinished wall with cartridge
style construction adhesive. Reinforcing
panels with rivets or mechanical fasteners
is optional. Precondition panels and moldings
for 24 hours at the final temperature
in the room to be applied. Silicone caulking
applied in molding channels ensures waterproof
barrier. Allow 72 hours for adhesive to
cure.

LOW MAINTENANCE
Maintenance is simple with a clean rag
and any household cleaner. Plastora is
unaffected by most corrosive chemicals.
Do not use abrasive cleansers.
