MIDDLEBURY, IN: Parkland Performance Walls & Ceilings, formerly known as Parkland Plastics, view themselves as a manufacturer built around and dedicated to a serious concern for the environment and an equally serious commitment to providing low-maintenance, high performance building products to the building trade. That, according to company’s president Charles Yoder, is where it all began.
The simple fact, according to Yoder, was that a lot of renewable polypropylene and polyethylene product was cluttering the environment. At the same time, the building industry needed aesthetically pleasing products that would stand up to the rigors of everyday use. Out of these two important certainties, Parkland embarked on a mission. A mission to create a new line of building products that meets the most demanding application requirements.

It is ideal for a wide range of applications, including home accent walls, fireplace surrounds, distinctive wainscoting, apartment lobbies, mailrooms and other areas that benefit from high-design performance.
The unique laminated surface can be applied to either PVC, gypsum board, lightweight plywood or Parkland’s exclusive PLAS-TEX® panel, depending on application requirements. It can be quickly and easily installed with Parkland Performance or other popular brand construction adhesives.

Plus it’s easier to work with; eliminating fiberglass hazards, and is available in a selection of attractive finishes including smooth, matte, and haircell, as well as the more common pebbled surface.

MIDDLEBURY, IN: The New PolyMAX Wainscot® system and plank product, now available from Parkland Performance Walls & Ceilings, are ideal for residential and commercial applications that require demanding performance characteristics yet benefit from eye-appealing architectural style. This new PVC product is totally waterproof and consists of reversible 6” planks featuring two different patterns, base molding with a built in moisture seal, and chair railing designed to accommodate minor variations in top-to-bottom heights on wainscot applications.
Available as 8’ planks for custom total wall applications and in a traditional 3’ total wainscot system, PolyMAX is 100% waterproof, non-absorbent and will not swell or rot. Ideal for high-moisture areas, it is mold and mildew resistant, will not harbor bacteria, is easy to clean and virtually maintenance free.
